UCC has vigorously invested in information, a key resource for the quick, efficient and accurate execution of our work. We maintain that information is still one of the most scare and wanted resources required by the high efficiency of resource allocation in any market-oriented economic framework.
We maintain current, extensive databases on all countries in which we operate, as well as a library of reference materials, industry data, statistics, and other sources of information. Our in-house capability is substantial, and our wealth of information allows case teams in the field to focus on the critical pieces of data specific to each client which need to be gathered or confirmed abroad.
Supplementing this information, we also have developed an impressive network of contacts around the world. For example, after realizing the importance of accuracy and promptness to the success of business consultancy services, UCC established a strong information network covering every provinces in China through fixing its cooperative relations with many of Chinese government departments and agencies and setting up its offices and branches in many of the major cities and developed areas of China.
Meanwhile, it is just from this starting point of accuracy and promptness that UCC has built up quickly its cooperative relations with many world-wide international information service agencies such as Reuter's, China Infobank, China Daily and China National Statistics Information Center besides getting access into Internet, the general information source available to public.
